1:1 Grief Therapy with Melissa Noyce
Are you struggling with grief?
Are you feeling overwhelmed by waves of sadness - or perhaps feeling nothing at all?
Do you sometimes wonder if you’re grieving “the right way”?
Maybe you’re relieved your loved one is no longer suffering and feel guilty for even thinking it?
Do you feel like everyone else expects you to have “moved on”, but you’re still trying to figure out how to live with the loss?
Grief doesn’t have a rulebook. It’s messy, unpredictable, and unique to everyone. There’s no “right way” to grieve. You might feel sad, angry, confused, or even relieved - and all of it is okay. There’s space here for your experience, whatever that looks like.
…..A Little About Me
For five years, I worked as a bereavement counsellor at Southampton General Hospital, supporting individuals and families during some of their hardest moments. I sat with people who were in shock or simply didn’t know how to feel. I’ve helped people prepare for loss and navigate the complicated emotions that follow.
I understand that grief doesn’t always look like tears and sadness. It can also look like numbness, relief, or even laughed in unexpected moments. As a fully accredited Gestalt counsellor, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can process your grief in a way that feels true to you.
What to Expect in Our Sessions
There’s No Rush, No Right Way, No “Should’s”
Grief is deeply personal, and you set the pace. Whether you want to cry, vent, talk in circles, or sit in silence, it’s all welcome. I’m here to meet you where you are.
We’ll Explore What Feels Right for You
Maybe you want help understanding and untangling your emotions.
Perhaps you need tools to navigate the day-to-day weight of grief.
Or you simply want a space to share your story without worrying about being “too much”.
Whatever you bring to the session, we’ll work together to explore your feelings and find a way forward that feels manageable and meaningful to you.

You don’t have to fit into the “typical” grieving process to benefit from counselling. Maybe your grief feels complicated, or you’re not even sure if what you’re feeling is grief. That’s okay. Relief, anger, numbness - it’s all part of the human response to loss.
There’s no right way to feel, and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
